I have used Seaham’s beautiful natural forest green sea glass to create ‘My Dad, my hero’. I have used an acrylic finish to give the sea glass a ‘wet look’, creating a vibrant sheen to each piece of glass. ‘Dad’ perches on a piece of white pottery found on Seaham beach that has been worn smooth by the action of the North Sea waves over many years.
